Premium Assistance Under Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
The Department of Labor (DOL) periodically updates their Employer CHIP Notice, and we would like to share information that is current as of July 31, 2025.
As a reminder, employers with group health plans that cover participants in states that provide premium assistance subsidies through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are required to notify their employees annually, regardless of the employer’s location.
If you have any employees that reside in a state that provides premium assistance subsidies through Medicaid or CHIP, please use this linkto disclose the notification to your employees.
